Foundation Health Partners is seeking a General Cardiologist to join our highly experienced team at Porter Heart & Vascular Center, the only full-time cardiology clinic serving Interior Alaska and the Far North.
The Opportunity:
When it comes to the Porter Heart & Vascular Center, putting patients first means a team approach to all aspects of care. With our expertise and technology, we can provide advanced diagnostics, short- and long-term management, and prevention guidance for numerous cardiovascular conditions. As a valued member of our team, you will join us in our commitment to improving the heart health of Fairbanksans and surrounding communities.
- Compensation: $500k base pay. Additional production pay is projected at $20k. $65k sign-on bonus.
- Schedule: M-F outpatient clinic. No night call. Weekends & holidays off.
- Patient Panel: Outpatient setting offering patients short and long-term management of heart-related conditions.
- Team: Robust and collaborative cardiovascular team consisting of 3 interventional cardiologists and 4 advanced practice providers.
You can expect to:
- Perform and interpret nuclear cardiolite, exercise stress testing, transesophageal echocardiogram, electrical cardioversion, and loop recorder placement.
- Assist with seeing patients in an outpatient clinic setting and interpretation of ECG's, echocardiogram's, holter, and event monitors.

Qualifications
Graduate of an approved school of medicine with licensure in state where he/she practices.
Board Eligible/Board Certified by appropriate certifying board. Current DEA number.
Must apply for and maintain Medical Staff membership and clinical privileges at appropriate facilities if required by Physician's employment agreement. Requires commitment to healthcare and concern for people in distress, critical listening skills and ability to communicate clearly, desire to work with all types of people and work as a team member and excellent interpersonal skills. Able to meet desired business outcomes while maintaining quality of care. Must be willing to update skills constantly.

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
