Summary

MyMichigan Cardiology Alpena is looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full time position in an established clinic. Schedule will include 8.5 hour days Monday through Thursday with shorter clinic days on Fridays. The position will start out as 100% outpatient with inpatient rounding being added as volumes increase. Daily volumes will start at 2 patients per hour and increase to 3 per hour by year 3. EHR is EPIC. Our support staff are dedicated to providing excellent patient care.


Responsibilities

Seeing new and follow-up patients in the clinic setting. Inpatient rounding will be added as volumes increase.


Certifications and Licensures

  • AHA approved ACLS certification
  • Active State of Michigan license and CSL or eligible to apply

Required Education

  • Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Cardiology experience preferred but will consider new grads
