Indiana University Health Physicians Community Medicine Cardiology is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our clinical care team at West Hospital in Avon, Indiana.
Position Details:
Full-time days; Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 7:00am - 5:30pm
Outpatient 80% - Inpatient 20%
Call schedule: Every 4th weekend (Sat/Sun) with additional day off going into and coming out of that weekend
Responsibilities: Care for patients in the outpatient setting as well as treating patients in the acute inpatient setting. Will perform admits, discharges, manage patient care, round, prescribe medications, order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
This provider must have excellent critical thinking skills and must be able to multi-task in a high intensity setting. Excellent communication skills are required to foster relationships across the multi-disciplinary team. Provider must have confidence in their clinical skill set and ability to function at the top of their scope.
Qualifications:
Will accept an ACNP, ANP, FNP or PA
If new graduate APP, two years of prior bedside nursing experience is required. Prior ICU/PICU/Cardiac experience is preferred
