Atlantic Health System is Seeking an Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) for the Valve and Structural Heart Center at Morristown Medical Center
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) at the Valve and Structural Heart Center at Morristown Medical Center. The Valve and Structural Heart Center is a dynamic and innovative program within interventional cardiology.
The primary responsibility of the APP will involve providing a broad range of services in an inpatient and outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have >2 years of APP cardiac experience and exceptional skills in assessments, consultations, H&P, and proficient in EPIC. This role will care for patients throughout the care continuum, from admission to discharge. The APP will also enjoy a collaborative and supportive work environment. The schedule for this position is 6:30am - 6:30pm, working 3 days per week, and covering evening call schedule during the week, and one weekend a month.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- 2 years of Cardiac experience as an NP or PA is preferred
- Must have excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
