LVHN was the first in our region to perform transcatheter aortic valve replacement, to be recognized for performing mitral valve repair surgery and to treat chronic total occlusions.  We lead the region in ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) and have specialized programs in women’s heart health, sports cardiology, advanced heart failure technologies, peripheral vascular and venous care and rhythm disturbance care.
