JOB PURPOSE: Cardiac Device Specialist responsible for providing technical and clinical services in the Electrophysiology ambulatory (outpatient) setting. CDS will perform Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device (CIED)interrogations, with arrhythmia interpretation of ECG, measured data, evaluation of arrhythmia burden, interpretation of diagnostics, and programming of cardiac device, reporting to an EP Provider. Will also be responsible for managing patient’s diagnostics in manufacturer remote monitoring websites, analysis and management of transmission, entering data in the electronic medical record (EMR), maintaining the data integrity with the system, and having the judgment to direct to the EP Providers, when appropriate.
