Physician Assistant needed in Montana for Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery coverage. Must be Board Certified, have current DEA, and MT state license/be willing to obtain state licensure. Shifts will be Monday-Friday with night call and weekend call. Hospital sees 50-60 heart cases annually. CVTS first assist in OR. Must have at least 5 years of inpatient/outpatient experience. Must feel comfortable with autonomy in OR when required, Vein harvesting - traditional and endoscopic, openings and closures, removal of medical devices: chest tubes, Swan-Ganz catheters, pacemaker wires, drains, intra-aortic balloon pumps, Hospital consults and inpatient rounding including CVICU, Orders and prescriptions, Patient education, Discharge summaries.
