Job DescriptionGeneral Summary:Under limited supervision, is responsible for performing EKGs and initiating 24 hour Holter monitor and 30-day event monitor recordings, obtaining tracings and reporting to the Cardiologist for interpretation. Assists in performing exercise stress tests by preparing the patient, monitoring the patient during the procedure, and documenting events and vital signs. Performs a variety of clerical tasks including: order, schedule and charge reconciliation of exams and procedures. Responsible for maintaining competency and accuracy of the EKG Management system by editing EKG reports, verifying patient demographic information, completing charge and order reconciliation
