Practice Overview:
Join 11 full-time Cardiologists and 3 Cardiology Nurse Practitioners
Features a high volume TAVR program, MitraClip program and Watchman program
Peripheral and coronary interventions,
inpatient and outpatient consults,
echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography (including 4D), and stress testing
Echocardiography, electrocardiography, Holter and event monitor, and stress testing
Advanced CTO management and structural and functional MRI services
Position Highlights:
Dedicated Medical Assistant and experienced, friendly support staff
Mon-Fri Clinic; 36 patient contact hours per week
Flexible schedule, typically 2 days in cath lab, 2 days clinic along with inpatient consults
Strong support from on-site cardiac and vascular support team
Established group with great mentorship available
Good blend of interventional with some general cardiology
Shared call schedule of 1:5 with Nurse Practitioner call support on the weekends

Role Purpose
Ensures optimal care and promotes safety of patients admitted to assigned service in cooperation with the private attending staff and nursing staff. Communicates with staff, patients, and families.
Responsibilities
Manages the medical care of assigned patients.
Collaborates with patients, families, and members of the health care team to ensure excellent clinical outcomes.
Performs and documents histories and physicals in the patient's medical record as required by hospital by-laws.
Supervises and instructs medical students and residents assigned to service. Assists in the learning needs of residents and students as assessed.
