BJC HealthCare is hiring a Full-Time LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) – IV Certified at our outpatient Cardiology Office (St. Louis, MO)
Position Details:
- Shift Hours: 8am-4:30pm (Monday-Friday)
- Provide general nursing services to patients under the supervision of a physician or other licensed provider within the scope of practice for the LPN
- Follow HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, and medication management
- Performs clinical skills, such as EKGs, point of care testing and medication administration
- Obtain vital signs, patient history and maintains accurate and prompt charting in the patient’s record
- Triage calls, provide test and lab results to patients and present relevant information to provider with correct medical terminology
- 2-5 years nursing experience (preferred)

Role Purpose
The Staff LPN Ambulatory is responsible for providing direct patient care under the direction of a physician or other licensed provider in an ambulatory care setting. Assigned tasks may include rooming patients, obtaining vitals, administering medications in-office, initiating/discontinuing IV fluids, performing point of care lab testing, assisting with procedures and triaging patient phone calls. All responsibilities are to be carried out in accordance with applicable state regulations.
