WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our group at Franciscan Heath Heart Center Michigan City located in Michigan City, Indiana. Interested candidate will join an extensive cardiology team.

WHAT WE NEED:

Ideal candidate will have past or present IMCU, CVU and inpatient cardiology experience, strong focus on clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Provider will need to work collaboratively with physician to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Clinic hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm; no holidays or weekends
• Flexible full-time schedule
• No call expectation
• Potential outreach to Chesterton, IN and LaPorte, IN
• Average outpatient volume: 15 - 20 patients per day
• Average inpatient volume: will vary
• Minimal travel to outreach locations <1 hour from main campus
• Strong mentorship available from seasoned providers already in practice
• IMCU, CVU & inpatient cardiology experience is preferred

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree Required
• Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) - Required - or
• Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - Required
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required
