Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking Per Diem Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab at Newton Medical Center working varied shifts.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
- Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Purpose, Respect, Innovation, Diversity and Inclusion and Extraordinary Caring) in every aspect of their job.
- Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
Qualifications
Education:
- BSN Preferred
Required License:
- Valid New Jersey Nursing License Required
Certifications:
- BLS Required
- ACLS Required
- CCRN Preferred
Related Experience:
- 2 years Cath Lab experience preferred.
- 2-4 minimum experience in cardiac care nursing required
- Critical Care experience strongly preferred
- Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills
