The UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute is recruiting a full-time interventional cardiologist to join our expanding team at one of our main satellite hospitals.

This position requires excellence in interventional cardiology and may include opportunities in administration, research, and teaching. Candidates should be focused on providing high quality patient care, be interested in building a robust clinical practice, and have the flexibility to work in various clinical and hospital settings.

Job duties include interventional and general cardiology coverage in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, including but not limited to coronary catheterizations, interventional procedures, transesophageal echocardiograms, and nuclear cardiology testing. These duties will be performed in rotation with other cardiologists within the practice. He/she will participate in outreach efforts for the HVI, expanding inpatient and outpatient activities at locations within the HVI service area. After-hours and weekend coverage will be shared among the group.
