The Cardiology Division of Phoenix Children’s Hospital is looking for a pediatric cardiologist to join their Heart Failure, Heart Transplantation, and Mechanical Circulatory Support Program. We are in search of a full time physician to join our team that currently includes two dedicated heart transplant cardiologists, four cardiac surgeons, three nurse practitioners and a nurse coordinator. Our busy program continues to expand, following approximately 150 heart failure and transplant patients and performing between 12-16 heart transplants per year, as well as offering all types of mechanic circulatory support. We are seeking an individual with interest in these areas and who has had dedicated fourth year advanced heart failure/heart transplant subspecialty training.
The staff physician shall provide patient care services and will support the PCH mission of providing hope, healing and the best health care for children and their families.
Education
MD or DO degree. (Required)
Certifications
Current Arizona License to Practice Medicine or the ability to obtain prior to start date. (Required)
Board certified/Board Eligible in the appropriate specialty. (Required)
Special Skills
The ability to move freely from facility to facility, as well as, the ability to move freely throughout facilities and examine patients. (Required)
The ability to communicate by telephone, computer or other communication devices. (Required)
The ability to perform after hours or night call responsibilities as needed. (Required)
