Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a full time Cardiovascular Ultrasound Tech for the vascular laboratory department at Overlook Medical Center including weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- OMC Vascular Lab is looking for a full time Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist to perform non-invasive diagnostic studies in accordance with established department protocols based on IAC standards.
- The candidate should possess sonographic skills in testing lower extremity venous, extracranial carotid arteries, physiologic testing (PVR), bypass grafts, dialysis and abdominal scanning
- Knowledge of DICOM workflow inclusive of work list, imaging, exporting, and preliminary reports is strongly preferred.
- Effective communication skills are a prerequisite for this position.
- This position will be working in a team environment that includes other Cardiovascular Ultrasound Techs, Administrative Staff and Physicians.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma Required
- The candidate must be a graduate of a CAAHEP accredited vascular sonography program and possess an ARDMS or CCI credentials.
Minimum Experience:
- Candidates with a minimum of one-years' experience in the field are preferred however new graduates that possess a strong background will be considered.
