Atlantic Health System is seeking a full time Cardiovascular Ultrasound Tech for the vascular laboratory department at Overlook Medical Center including weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
OMC Vascular Lab is looking for a full time Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist to perform non-invasive diagnostic studies in accordance with established department protocols based on IAC standards.
The candidate should possess sonographic skills in testing lower extremity venous, extracranial carotid arteries, physiologic testing (PVR), bypass grafts, dialysis and abdominal scanning
Knowledge of DICOM workflow inclusive of work list, imaging, exporting, and preliminary reports is strongly preferred.
Effective communication skills are a prerequisite for this position.
This position will be working in a team environment that includes other Cardiovascular Ultrasound Techs, Administrative Staff and Physicians.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma Required
The candidate must be a graduate of a CAAHEP accredited vascular sonography program and possess an ARDMS or CCI credentials.
Minimum Experience:
Candidates with a minimum of one-years' experience in the field are preferred however new graduates that possess a strong background will be considered.
