Position Information:
WakeMed Physician Practices is a multi-specialty group with over 480 physicians in a variety of specialty areas. Our organization places a high value on quality, caring and compassionate physicians and is committed to providing state-of-the-art healthcare to our patients. WakeMed is a leader in cardiac and vascular care, women's and children's services, emergency medicine and trauma care, physical rehabilitation, orthopedics and neurosciences.

We are currently seeking an interventional physician to join our established cardiology group and to serve as structural cardiology program director. Ideal candidate should have at least 5 years experience with expertise in coronary interventions, TAVR, left atrial appendage closure, ASD/PFO closure and percutaneous mitral valve procedures. Position includes structural and general cardiology clinic and interventional call. Typical weeknight call of 1-2 per month and weekend call approximately 1:6.

With over 20 highly-trained cardiologists and nine locations, our practice provides a wide range of diagnostic, invasive and interventional cardiovascular services to patients from throughout the region. Our providers are board-certified in a wide range of specialties, including general cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and vascular ultrasound. We also have experts in device implantation and peripheral vascular intervention.
