Atlantic Health System is seeking Full time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for the Pediatric Cardiology Department of Morristown Medical Center
Our entry level offers start at $21.10 / hour and increase based upon experience.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions of certified medical assistant (CMA):
The Pediatric Certified Medical Assistant will perform EKG's, and provide intake of patients of Pediatric Cardiology and Children's Heart Center.
The CMA will assist physicians with management of patients during practice sessions
The Pediatric Certified Medical Assistant will assist administrative staff with pre-authorizations, maintain patient charts, and manage phones as needed.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma required
Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
Qualifications/Requirements of certfied medical assitant (CMA)
Pediatric Certified Medical Assistant will haveMA certification through AAMA, AMCA, NAHP, AMT, NCCT, or NHA required
EKG expereince a must
Prior MA experience in pediatrics and/or cardiology desired
EMR experience strongly preferred for Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
