Position Information:
The Cardiovascular (CV) Specialist assists physicians in performing a variety of invasive cardiac and vascular procedures, to include call back rotation. Performs duties as assigned by the manager, supervisor, or board coordinator. While in the Hybrid OR, the CV Specialist will be working alone side surgeons assisting with the treatment and diagnosis of cardiovascular disease. Working directing with the patient the CV Specialist will help ensure patients will receive optimum care.

The WakeMed Raleigh Campus is a 587-bed acute care hospital featuring a Level I Trauma Center with 24/7 perioperative services. The fully-integrated OR team offers service for cardiac, trauma, general, urology, pediatrics, oncology, spine, neurosurgery, vascular, orthopaedic, ENT, gynecology, plastic surgery, oral and maxillo-facial surgical patients.

Experience Requirements:
1 Year Clinical - Cardiovascular Required - And Clinical - Hybrid OR Preferred

Education Required:
Associate's Degree Radiologic Technology Or Related Field Required - And Bachelor's Degree Radiologic Technology Or Related Field Preferred

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Basic Life Support Required - And Registered Technologist for Radiography Or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Or Registered Technologist in Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography Or Registered Vascular Technologist Required

Hours of Work:
Monday- Friday

Weekend Requirements:
Every Third
