The Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) Institute for Academic Medicine (IAM) is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified non-invasive cardiologist to join an elite cardiology team supporting our ACGME-accredited cardiovascular disease fellowship and providing exceptional clinical care to our patients. CAMC boasts a high volume, state-of-the-art cardiology program supported by eight catheterization labs, three dedicated vascular interventional labs, and three EP labs. The educational responsibilities will include supervision and training of cardiovascular disease fellows, internal medicine residents, and other learners with expectations for scholarly activity commensurate with dedicated academic time. Clinically, the position will include inpatient and ambulatory care and a focus on developing a referral base throughout the region. The ideal candidate has a passion for exceptional patient care and teaching, and potential for leadership. There may be the opportunity for program leadership (Associate Program Director) for an experienced candidate.
