Position Information:
WakeMed Physician Practices is a multi-specialty group with over 400 physicians in a variety of specialty areas. Our organization places a high value on quality, caring and compassionate physicians and is committed to providing state-of-the-art healthcare to our patients. WakeMed is a leader in cardiac and vascular care, women's and children's services, emergency medicine and trauma care, physical rehabilitation, orthopedics, and neurosciences.
We are currently seeking an Advanced Heart Failure physician to join our expanding cardiology group in Wake County to serve the Raleigh and Cary region. Our well-established group offers comprehensive services to the community we serve. With over 25 highly trained cardiologists and nine locations, our practice provides the full spectrum of diagnostic, invasive and interventional cardiovascular services to patients from throughout the region. Our providers are board-certified in a wide range of specialties and sub-specialties, including general cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, electrophysiology, cardiovascular imaging, nuclear cardiology, complex venous disease, and vascular ultrasound. We have experts in device implantation, structural heart disease, congenital heart disease, complex arrhythmia management and ablations, and peripheral vascular intervention. Our practice is supported by a tremendously skilled and experienced group of 24-7 advanced practice providers, a world-class cardiovascular surgery program, and comprehensive critical care services. Our group participates in all major national databases and registries as well as a wide spectrum of cardiovascular clinical trials. Teaching faculty appointments are available. Must be currently Board Certified or Board Eligible by an American Medical Specialty Board. Ideal candidate will have at least 1-year professional experience.
