Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-Time AHS Float Pool Invasive Cardiovascular Tech at Morristown Medical Center for each of the four Cardiac Catheterization Labs within AHS; Schedule varies Mon-Friday, including on-call as required by department.*?¯(Sites include Morristown, Pompton Plains, Newton and Summit NJ)
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Candidate will assist physicians with CATH, PCI, Peripheral, Valvuloplasty, Impella, TAVR (CoreValve, SAPIEN, MitraClip, Watchman, PFO, ASD) and ICD cases.
- Administers post recovery care of patients including, arterial and venous sheath removal.
- Adheres to On-call policy requirements and responds appropriate to emergency calls per unit policy.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Degree or GED required
- Graduate of an accredited CVT School required
License/Certifications:
- RCIS certification or within one-year of hire required
- ACLS/BLS required
Relevant Experience:
- 1-2 years previous RCIS/CVT experience preferred
