Summary Perform testing, troubleshooting and programming of implantable devices; pacemakers, defibrillators and loop recorders. Provide support related to implantable devices which are followed by a large cardiology practice. Provide nursing directives to plan of care involving device patients. Function as liaison between device patients and physician/clinical staff. Review remote interrogations; providing an interpretation of findings to the Cardiologist. Perform patient teaching related to implantable devices, to include perioperative period and ongoing, as need arises.
