Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology
VA New York Harbor Healthcare System is recruiting a full-time Nurse Practitioner to work alongside three full-time and one part-time attending Cardiologists at our Brooklyn Campus. Responsibilities will include daily (Monday through Friday) review of patients monitored on telemetry, then discussion of those patients with a Cardiologist to facilitate early discharge or, when necessary, to expedite the in-hospital evaluation and treatment. The NP will attend Cardiology clinics twice weekly. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
