The Gainesville, FL Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center and the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Florida (UF) are searching for a full-time BC/BE noninvasive cardiologist. This faculty position is a dual appointment, primarily based at the VA. We offer the entire spectrum of cardiac care except advanced therapies for CHF. Perform non-invasive exams and treat cardiovascular disorders and diseases. Diagnose patients using diagnostic images and electrocardiograph recording
The full spectrum of CT surgery is available on site. Duties at the VA include the entire spectrum of noninvasive cardiac care, outpatient clinics in Gainesville and Lake City and education of cardiology fellows. You will be required to work at the Lake City location 1-2 days per week.
Night and weekend call, VA CCU and general consult service are shared between all 13 VA faculty. Ongoing scholarly activity is strongly encouraged.
Sign on bonus (up to $20K) is available for a highly qualified candidate.

Licensure: 1 full & unrestricted license from any US State is permissible to work at this facility
CME: $1,000 per year stipend; 5 days paid absence to attend CME
