Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist (EKG/Stress) for the Non-Invasive Cardiac Services Department at Newton Medical Center working varied shifts, including every other weekend and on-call.
Perform non-invasive cardiac ultrasound in accordance with established departmental protocols and policies (as per ASE and IAC guidelines)
Perform adult echo, TEE and stress echos
Perform complete and thorough valve assessments and must be proficient with pedof probe
Comply with hospital policies and procedures, attend department meetings and participate in various projects or assignments
Effective communication skills with patients, physicians, and other hospital personnel
Candidate would be expected to promote Atlantic Health System PRIDE values and meet the requirements of a Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist's Criteria Based Performance Appraisal
Must be able to take blood pressure measurements
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Graduate of CAAHEP or ABHES Cardiovascular Technology program preferred
BLS certification required
Prior arrhythmia experience is a plus
