Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist for the Cath Lab at Morristown Medical Center to work varied shifts with weekends and on-call as required.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Candidate will assist physician(s) with CATH/PCI, Peripheral, Impella, Structural Heart Cases (CoreValve, SAPIEN, MitraClip, Watchman, Valvuloplasty, PFO, ASD) and ICD cases.
- Administers post recovery care of patients including, arterial and venous sheath removal.
- Must be able to assess for and manage arterial access site complications.
- Adheres to on-call policy requirements and responds appropriate to emergency calls per unit policy.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Education:
- Graduate of an Accredited CVT School
License/Certifications:
- RCIS certification or within one-year of hire
- ACLS required
- BLS required
Relevant Experience:
- 1-2 years previous RCIS/CVTexperience preferred
