Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Cardiovascular Ultrasound Tech for the Cardiac Services Non Invasive Unit working flexible hours including weekends as required by department. This position will be located at Overlook Medical Center.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- OMC Echo Lab is seeking a per diem Registered Cardiac Sonographer, (RDCS or RCS), to join the team of an Adult Echocardiography Lab.
- The candidate will be responsible to preform comprehensive echocardiograms following established protocols to verify, plan, set up, preform and report appropriate echocardiogram examinations.
- The sonographer will assist the physician with Transesophageal Echocardiograms and Stress and Pharmacological Echocardiograms. ICAEL Accreditation experience is required.
- 3D Echocardiography experience is a plus.
- The candidates will complete clerical tasks associated with echo exams; completing and recording all testing information accurately, completely and in a timely manner.
- Maintaining a pleasant and informative manner in communicating with patients, physicians, and other hospital personnel.

- Must have excellent customer service skills
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
License/Certifications:
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS or RCS)
Relevant Experience:
- 1-3+ years of experience in performing Transesophageal Echocardiograms, Stress and Pharmacological Echocardiograms, IAC experience
- 3D Echocardiography experience is a plus
