Position Information:
The Quality Data Specialist I is responsible for reviewing charts as designated by manager. Abstracts data from charts / systems as required by regulatory agencies and registries. Include data abstraction for on-going studies, ad hoc audits and special studies. Collects data for databases as assigned and adheres to specified database definitions and requirements. Validates data that is collected by other personnel prior to entry into specified database(s). Collects data for on-going and ad hoc studies as directed by manager. Provides analysis and feedback on all opportunities. Provides and distributes outcome reports for database or registry with explanation of findings.
Experience Requirements:
3 Years Clinical - Acute Care And 1 Year Data Collection Required - With Preferred Education Or 5 Years Clinical - Acute Care And 1 Year Data Collection Required - With Required Education
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred - Or Associate's Degree Nursing Required - With Equivalent Experience
cardiovascular experience preferred
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Registered Nurse Required - And Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality Preferred
