Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per-Diem Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Access Unit at Morristown Medical Center primarily working a varied shift, 2 days a week, including every other weekend.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Function:
- Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
- Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Purpose, Respect, Innovation, Diversity and Inclusion and Extraordinary Caring) in every aspect of their job.
- Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirments:
- Strong cardiac clinical assessment skills required
- Flexibility in scheduling days of the week is necessary
- Utilizing EPIC Clin Doc for documentation
Minimum Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Education:
License/Certification:
- Valid NJ RN License
- BLS required
- ACLS preferred
- Cardiology experience preferred
Relevant Experience:
- 3-4 years experience in Cardiology strongly preferred
- The RN will provide nursing care to the patient population in Cardiac Access, Observation and Extended Recovery unit
