Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center, a planned 341,000-square-foot acute care hospital, will enhance an already vibrant network of primary and specialty care providers across Lancaster County. The new hospital will feature 129 private inpatient beds, an emergency department, physician offices, various specialty inpatient services, an imaging lab and complete medical and surgical capabilities. SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for performing cardiovascular procedures within the Cardiovascular Catheterization Laboratory. Conduct tests on cardiovascular systems of patients for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. May conduct or assist in electrocardiograms, cardiac catheterizations, to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Either a Graduate of an approved Invasive Cardiovascular Program; or two (2) years of Interventional Cardiac Catheterization lab experience; or Graduate of an approved RT Program plus 2 years of Cardiac Catheterization lab experience required.
Must obtain RCIS certification with 18 months of date of hire
Must obtain BLS, ACLS, PALS within 3-6 months
