Atlantic Health is Seeking an Interventional Cardiology Advanced Practice Clinician for a Great Opportunity in Morristown NJ!

Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to support the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute in Morristown Medical Center. This brand-new role is ideal for self-starters and will give an APC the opportunity to be part of a growing and well-established group with a robust staff.

Atlantic Health System's Morristown Medical Center is home to the largest cardiac surgery and nationally recognized for heart care. The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute is one of the busiest centers in the United States, performing over 5,000 cardiac catheterizations per year including diagnostic catheterization, elective and high-risk angioplasty, and ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) intervention.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with nursing and physician workflows, as well as care and manage patients during immediate post-procedural phase of care. The ideal candidate is expected to be proficient with Appropriate Use Criteria, Required Documentation Standards and perform pre-procedural assessment and review of H&P, non-invasive testing, lab evaluation to meet SCAI and ACC standards of care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from accredited APN/PA program
• Master's degree required
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Interventional Cardiology experience preferred
• Critical Care experience preferred
• Advanced Practice Clinician experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
