Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Invasive Cardiovascular Tech for Cardiac Catheterization Lab to work 7-5pm including on-call as required by the department at Newton Medical Center.
Prepare and prep for cardiac caths, PCI(STEMI and peripheral vascular procedures
Able to monitor, document and calculate hemodynamic data
Provide procedural assistance to physician, pre, intra and post procedure
Assess and manage access site, and inform physician
Adhere to On call protocol for Cath lab
Prepare patient for procedures
Make recommendations to supervisor on related duties, policies, and procedures
High School Diploma or GED required
Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Cardiovascular Technology program (or within six months)
RCIS certification preferred
BLS, ACLS & IABP experience preferred
Cardiac Cath lab experience preferred
