Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Exercise Physiologist I for the Outpatient Cardiac Rehab Program at Overlook Medical Center to work from 7 AM to 3 PM at least 1 shift per week. No weekends or call.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- This candidate will be involved in orienting patients to exercise equipment and general guidelines of the program.
- Assessing and evaluating patients' functional status is essential, in addition to developing individualized exercise programs.
- This candidate will provide current education on exercise, resistance training, risk factors and lifestyle changes.
- Obtaining blood pressures is also included in this role.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science is required
Education:
- Master's degree preferred
License/Certification:
- BLS certification required
Relevant Experience:
- Cardiac Rehab experience is preferred
