Summary: The Cardiac Physician Assistant functions to support the practice of the attending surgeons in the management of the Pre-Operative and Post-Operative patient in all areas of Cardiovascular Care including but not limited to the CVICU, Cardiac Surgery step down unit and cardiovascular clinic.The scope of practice will comply with all state, federal and local laws.
