POSITION PURPOSE: Collects, maintains, and submits quality and utilization data to n registries to meet State mandates for Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery program reporting. Ensures the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of routing and ad hoc reports submissions. Serves as an activity member of the Cardiovascular Invasive Lab team by providing patient procedural scheduling support, when requested.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Associated Degree required. Bachelorâ��s Degree in Business or related field preferred. Able to read, write and speak English.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A minimum of 3 years of experience working with healthcare date that include experience with abstracting and entering data. Cardiology experience (or equivalent) preferred. Proficient use of computer required. Familiarity with statistical analysis and spreadsheet manipulation. Familiarity with the development of MS Access queries preferred. Experience in professionally formatting confidential data and performing self-quality checks. Proven ability and eagerness to learn new systems and databases. Ability to collaborate with physicians, nurse, and health team members. Preferred: prior experience with NCDR and STS databases preferred.
