Registered Nurse (Cardiac Cath and Electrophysiology Lab)
The Cardiac Catherization and Electrophysiology Lab (Cath- EP) Nurse II, is a professional critical care registered nurse (RN) who is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient care. The RN is accountable for adhering to established policies, standards of care and standards of practice. This RN demonstrates leadership when providing and improving patient care. The Cath-EP Nurse II, assumes the following roles and responsibilities: 1. Provides direct patient care. 2. Demonstrates integration of biopsychosocial concepts, cognitive skills, and technically competent practice in providing care to clients with complex needs. 3.
