You Will Be Responsible For:
Determines daily material requirements
Delivers materials to needed facilities and departments daily
Creates purchase orders and orders needed supplies
Monitors and manages materials to ensure compliance with FHMG Purchasing Policies
Manages the receiving area and warehouse
Reports daily usage of materials; provides information on areas that are non-conformance
What You Will Need:
Skilled in customer service
Skilled in interpersonal, oral, and written communication
Bachelor’s degree and zero (0) year healthcare or materials management experience, OR
Associate degree and one (1) year healthcare or materials management experience, OR
High school degree (or equivalent) and two (2) years healthcare or materials management experience
The Supply Specialist collaborates with and supports a team of 25+ Physicians Advanced Practice Providers in multiple facilities in the procurement and distribution of medical equipment and supplies, as well as general office supplies. Oversees purchase order process, manages the intake, storage and distribution of supplies, and manages facilities maintenance.
