Full-time outpatient opportunity
Obtaining patient history
Performing physical examinations
Ordering and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Formulating a diagnostic impression
Developing and implementing a treatment plan
Making appropriate referrals
Demonstrates ability to assess data reflective of patient's status and appropriately interprets information relative to patient's age-specific needs.
Monitoring effectiveness of therapeutic interventions
Offering counseling and education to meet patient needs
Works closely with general and invasive cardiology providers
Close relationships with internal referring providers
Participate in outreach clinics
No call required
2 years experience as a NP or PA in Cardiology
Inpatient and Outpatient
Emergency Department or ICU
Preferred graduation from a Cardiology fellowship/residency

Consists of the following providers:
1 Cardiovascular Surgeon - Medical Director of Heart and Vascular
5 Cardiothoracic Surgical PAs
4 Interventional Cardiologists
2 General Cardiologist (one practices EP, as well)
2 Nurse Practitioners - position is to replace one departing provider
Services patients in approximately one-third of the state of Montana
Cardiologists provide care to region via outreach clinics
