Cardiac Sonographers needed

Working under the authority of the Medical Director, the Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for obtaining high quality images of the heart and related structures to assist the Cardiologist with the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position requires travel to other Pulse clinics.

Responsibilities of the Cardiac Sonographer:

• Uses the AIDET framework of Acknowledge – Introduce – Duration – Explanation – Thank You to thoroughly explain the procedure; facilitate patients' cooperation; and provide a positive patient experience
• Completes exam accurately and timely, adapting protocols according to degree and type of pathology encountered, while adhering to Standards of Intersocietal Accreditation of Echocardiography
• Performs all duties in accordance with the policies and procedures of Pulse Heart Institute
• Performs clerical duties specific to ICAEL quality assurance
• Performs departmental maintenance duties
• Maintains licensure, BLS and continuing education requirements per the Standards of the ICAEL
