| The Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist will be responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating services and activities associated with Northeast Baptist Hospital�s Cardiovascular Service Line. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, gathers and analyzes data and produces reports of cost and quality of care to provide to clinical leaders who, with this information, can enhance the quality of clinical care for cardiovascular (CV) patients. Creates and manages the CV strategic dashboard, which will include metrics for satisfaction, clinical outcomes, safety, efficiency metrics, and activity. Serves a liaison to all members of the healthcare team driving service excellence. #LI-JH2
Qualifications:
| MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelors of Science in Nursing Advanced Practice Nurse Master�s Prepared Clinical Nurse Specialist �Cardiovascular specialty / Must be APRN-CNS | | PREFERRED EDUCATION: | | MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Two (2) to five (5) years� experience in health care administration and/or a similar health care operations field. Three (3) to five (5) years� experience in analyzing and interpreting data in a health care related field. Demonstrated proficiency with office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and data management systems. | | PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: | | REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State license for Registered Nurse. | | PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) credential preferred. | | REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): x BLS�Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network. |
