The UCLA Division of Cardiac Surgery, seeks an Assistant Surgeon to provide patient care in cardiac surgery. Duties will include assisting in all cardiac procedures including heart and lung transplantation, organ procurement, ECMO, and the insertion of mechanical circulatory support devices. Participation in the pre-operative evaluation for potential surgical candidates, transplant logistics, transplant surgery and in postoperative care. Must be eligible for and maintain a California Medical License.
Individuals who have completed an accredited training program in cardiac surgery and have an interest in surgical treatment of heart failure and cardiopulmonary transplant are encouraged to apply
