FT Days, Mon thru Fri, 40 hours per week, 8 to 4:30 (1 call weekend per month on a rotational basis)
You Will Be Responsible For:
Â·Assist the physician(s) in providing medical care to patients in the physician practice setting.
Â·Performs venipuncture; administers injections; aids in diagnostic procedures.
Â·Documents pertinent information in patient charts by dictation or handwriting.
Â·Takes patient vital signs and accurately documents these.
Â·Instructs patients for procedures, makes appointments and answers medically related phone calls at physicianâ™s direction.
Â·Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care error.
Â·Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
Â·Demonstrates an ability to assist physicians with procedures and perform services requiring technical and manual skills.
Â·Documentation meets current standards and policies.
What you will need:
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing required.
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of North Carolina required.
BCLS certification within 6 months of hire required
Medical Office experience preferred
Cardiology experience preferred (must be willing to learn all aspects of Cardiology including Rehab and testing)
Assist physician with medical care in a physician practice setting. Communicates with physician(s)/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patientâ™s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
